The Sportsnet broadcast of the 2016 World Cup of Hockey featuring Team North America, including Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, vs. Team Finland will be available for fans to watch at Rogers Place this Sunday, September 18 for only $5.

The broadcast will be shown on the Rogers Place scoreboard, the largest true high-definition centre ice scoreboard in the National Hockey League (NHL) giving fans an amazing viewing experience of World Cup of Hockey action.

Tickets for reserved seating are now on sale for $5 and net proceeds will benefit the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF).

Doors to Rogers Place via the pedestrian portal (103 Ave./103 St.) will be open at 5:00 PM for a 6:00 PM start time.

Adding to the fan experience, concessions will be open and a diverse selection of food & beverage options will be available for purchase.

The 2016 World Cup of Hockey, a two-week tournament, featuring more than 150 of the best players in the NHL, will be played September 17 to October 1, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Eight teams – Team Canada, Team Czech Republic, Team Finland, Team Russia, Team Sweden, Team USA, Team Europe and Team North America will compete in a best-on-best international hockey championship.
